Hi hi! I hope you all had a great week & weekend :) I just got back from a lovely weekend in Vermont celebrated our friends’ wedding. I took 2 days off at the end of the week so we could get up there early and spend time with some of the other guests whom we hadn’t seen in too long (suburban life is hard that way). As a result, we have an even number of corporate and non-corporate outfits this week. If not of interest, totally fair, and I’ll be back next week with office looks for the mounting heat.
Also, did anyone else watch the Men’s French Open tennis final today between Skinner and Alcaraz? What an amazing show of athleticism, it will truly go down in history. I’m amazed at the mental fortitude Carlos showed in the 5.5 hour match, coming back from 0-2 and ending with such an exclamation point!!! And at only 22 years old!!! Gosh I just love sports!!!
Let’s see what we left the house in…
Monday 6/2
Sunday night game plan: going to be 50 when I leave the house tomorrow, but 70 when work is over. I think it’s a good day for my white COS denim. I’ll pair it with the Maje top (same Poshmark; similar TRR) I am renting and some flats.
Monday morning: Put on my white denim, floral top, and decide between green velvet flats and brown ones. The brown ones win out because they aren’t too matchy matchy. In hindsight, this is a lot of volume on top for these oversized pants, so I will avoid this type of combination as the bump grows.
Tuesday 6/3

Monday night game plan: warming up tomorrow even more! I have a brown Donni skirt from my rental that I haven’t worn yet, so I lay that out for tomorrow.
Tuesday morning: I accidentally press stop instead of snooze on my alarm and wake up in a panic. These are the mornings where I need to just stick to what I know and get out the door. I grab the brown skirt and pair it with a black vest top from Abercrombie (newer version). My Margaux ponyhair flats in zebra print pull the brown + black together, and I add some gold and pearl earrings too. I am ready and out the door in 19 minutes. A true feat!
Wednesday 6/4
Tuesday night game plan: getting warmer!!! Tomorrow I have department happy hour after work, so I want to wear something comfortable and versatile for an outdoor BBQ bar.
Wednesday morning: I decide to re-wear out an outfit from a few weeks back. White cotton skirt from Hill House, old sweater tank from Madewell, gold jewelry and a pair of green velvet slippers (editing note: I regret these by the end of the day, no support, so sweaty).
Thursday 6/5
Our friends are getting married this weekend so we are driving up to Vermont! For a morning of errands before the car ride up, I wore these Hatch overalls, my favorite Amazon tank and a white Gap big shirt for a layer in the car.
Friday 6/6
Welcome drinks tonight! I rented this brown satin set from Donni (similar skirt new, similar skirt poshmark) and wore it with Zara earrings, a bunch of gold necklaces from Made by Mary, an old pair of white Steve Madden heels and my trusty little knit bag from London.
Saturday 6/7 (wedding day!!!)
Our friend’s wedding was at a beautiful estate in Vermont, with views of the mountains in every direction and the most perfect peony gardens I’ve ever seen. I wore a pink maxi dress from ba&sh that I bought for a wedding last year, sandals, my go-to Lizzie Fortunato earrings and an extremely old clutch from kate spade. If anyone is looking for a wedding guest dress, I couldn’t recommend this one enough, it’s so comfortable, flattering and great if you want to wear and hide your flats. Extra points for the tie in the back that makes it fit a fluctuating body!
Mentions of the week
Good Hang continues to be my favorite podcast of the week. This week’s guest was Seth Meyers and he was in tears twice over their friendship. Quite adorable.
I bought a short workout jumpsuit for this summer and immediately returned it. I looked like a child wrestler? How do people make those look cute?! LOL
I’ve been using this brightening serum from Motif for a couple months now, and I am really a huge fan! It’s clean and it isn’t as drying as my usual vitamin C serum, which makes it easier for me to use it daily. They also say you can use it as a make-up primer, which I love as a minimal morning girl.

Chef’s Corner
Zero cooking this week, but I did have a burger with pickle aioli on Thursday night and it was top 5 burgers I’ve ever eaten.
Wishlist Items?!
Still thinking about this navy dress from Tory Burch… if it’s still the case in 2 weeks I may just have to pull trigger
I also got an unexpected bonus from coaching lacrosse this season, much of which will go towards baby savings. BUT I am going to allow myself 1 gift. If I’m thinking practically, a pair of Birkenstock Boston clogs will be good for when baby comes. Has anyone made a fun ~$200 purchase lately? I would love some dreamy inspo :)
Thank you for being here! If you enjoy reading my work, there are a few ways to let me know:

You look GORGEOUS in the pink dress!!!!
The tennis match this morning was craaaazy!!!
You look BEAUTIFUL and adorable. I love the tip of a floor length dress to hide flats.
