Last week was supposed to feature a COOD: OOO - but I ended up being sick in bed for the first half, before heading to a wedding for the second. Thus, we will be hopping right back into another summer week in the office.
On a personal note, I am adding Tuesdays as a regular WFH day to accommodate a new cadence of doctor’s appointments. In order to keep the focus on office outfits during the week - I will begin to feature a Tuesday Guest Star !!! Inviting new and old friends to share what they wore to their office that day, and a little insight into how they went about choosing their outfit. Hopefully you enjoy the new faces each week, I know I am personally excited to add some new girls into the mix!
Let’s see what we left the house in…
Monday 6/23
Sunday night game plan: are you sick of hearing that it’s going to be hot in New York this week? Well, same. After 9.5 hours in the car, I don’t have a ton of mental energy for outfit planning. But! I lean on
’s guide for the office and use one of her outfit formulas to pick out something I have worn before.Monday morning: I am ready in essentially 10 minutes this morning, thanks to JVN air cream and a pre-planned fit of white cotton skirt + vest + flats + simple jewelry. I’m excited to wear these new Larroude flats for the first time - I got them on sale (40% off now, I also had extra 20% off that price), as a comfy summer flat for commuting pregnant. If I can wear them in 95 degree heat today, I can wear them anywhere.
Tuesday 6/24 (this week’s guest star will be Wednesday)

Monday night game plan: WFH tomorrow!
Tuesday morning: today’s appointment had me a bit nervous. I originally got dressed in bike shorts and a tee, but that didn’t really make me feel great. I decided that if I tried a little harder, it would make things a little easier. Everything I wore is equally as comfortable but a little more elevated, and the small changes truly made me feel better as I headed out of the house. Most importantly, we got good news, so maybe I even manifested something :) aerie shorts // men’s jcrew sweater // bass loafers // tory bag // warby sunnies // old zara button down
Wednesday 6/25
This week’s office-bound guest star is
who writes ! We connected on Substack and realized that we used to play lacrosse together in high school over 10 years ago?! What a small world. We were obv on the same wave length this week for the heat… :) Thank you Brittany for being my guinea pig!!! You are the cutest mom!!!Your office dress code - I work in media and entertainment so we definitely have room for creative freedom around here. I’d say our dress code is “Casual Friday” but everyday. Jeans, t-shirts and sneakers are acceptable as long as they’re clean and free of rips, stains, etc. I’m a mom to a young toddler so I don’t get the chance to dress up often so I try to use my office days as an opportunity to put on a real pair of shoes, a flowy skirt, a shirt with impractical sleeves.
Agenda for the day - Today I’m in the office, but no client meetings so nothing too fancy. However, I am going to a Broadway show after work!
What factors helped influence what you wore - It’s about 100 degrees in NYC today and I have a 10 minute walk from my train to my office (where the AC is basically set to tundra temperatures). I’m also going to a show after work. So I needed an outfit that was weather appropriate, office appropriate and theatre appropriate.
Approximately how long have you owned the pieces that you picked? Any fun new pieces or forever favorites to highlight? - This white poplin skirt I got from the Aritzia clientele sale last year is one of my most worn items in my closet. It’s so versatile and SO comfortable (I love you, poplin). I also recently purchased this knit tank from Mango, which is perfect for office outfitting in the summer. And my Amazon dupes of a very popular Mary Jane that I’ve been reaching for constantly!
Thursday 6/26

Wednesday night game plan: tomorrow I am going into the office and then going to welcome drinks for a friends wedding! It’s a local one, which is my favorite kind. I got my new RTR monthly shipment tonight (which I am cancelling, see why here), and it had a very fun Ulla Johnson dress that is great for the bump. I hang that out for tomorrow.
Thursday morning: I put on the Ulla dress and slip into a pair of orange heeled slides from Larroude. I got them on sale last summer and LOVE them as a pop of color with any outfit, which this dress needs because the base color is very similar to my skin color. I layer some gold jewelry and throw my husband’s navy blazer in my bag before heading to the train.
If you’re interested, the Ulla dress is being sold secondhand here (XS), here (M), here (size 6) and here (size 2).

Thursday night: I actually go home before the party and change into my new maxi nap dress from Hill House which is SO comfortable, white slides, a ton of gold and pearl jewelry, and a thrifted rattan bag. TBH I was a little underdressed compared to my girlfriends, but the perk of being pregnant is absolutely no one cares!!!
Friday 6/27
Thursday night game plan: no need to lay out any outfits because I am just going to frolic around all morning with my besties who are staying with us before we head to the ceremony.
Friday morning: wedding day!!! Because of it’s success earlier in the month, I will be outfit repeating tonight. I bought this dress last summer for a wedding and honestly, it was a big splurge. So wearing it twice this month is making me very happy. That’s what good event dresses should do! 📣 And they don’t have to be black to be repeatable 🚨 I don’t care if everyone knows me for this bright pink dress, because in my opinion, I look better great in it. So try to find the dress that makes you unafraid to say you look great, and wear it over and over again as your heart desires.
Saturday 6/28 + Sunday 6/29
Saturday was a slow one! I went to the gym and then spent the rest of the day on our back deck in my bathing suit. Monday Swim kindly sent this 2 piece (top / bottom) over from their new collection last month, and I gotta say I’m very impressed with how it makes me feel! It’s really comfortable and has been stretching with my bump and I love that there are straps if I want to have more support. I wore it all afternoon and napped in it, so it gets my stamp of approval for sure.
We spent Sunday at the pool with my sister and her boyfriend just lounging around. I finally got Onyx Storm on my kindle from the library, so I devoured that in between floating on my stomach in the water - bliss. Later tonight, we are going to the beach for dinner and I am wearing a black dress from Solid & Striped and ancient greek sandals.
Mentions of the week
A few pregnancy must haves for me so far!!! Third trimester is off to the races!!!
These bralettes, this chafing stick, the bump butter that Sofia Richie made famous, this clean brightening serum, this magnesium cream for calf cramps and these $10 aerie shorts sent from God.

Just started: ONYX STORM !!!
Chef’s Corner
- DROPPED NEW COOKIES alert alert - they’re literally the most beautiful things I’ve ever baked. And they’re delicious, but dare I say they could be even more delicious if you put vanilla ice cream between them and made ice cream sandwiches. The fact that I baked when it was 100 degrees outside is a testament to how much I wanted these in my life.
Wishlist Items?!
Well, I did buy something from the Tory Burch Semi-Annual sale. No one is surprised. These little red kitten heels that ended up being over 50% marked down. They’re beautifully made and the heel height is perfect, but they’re definitely less fire engine red and more of a lipstick red if you want to give them a go (they still do returns during these big sales, which is really nice) - I’m keeping track of my fave TB pieces here if you want to take a look :)
Thank you for being here! If you enjoy reading my work, there are a few ways to let me know:

I loved the feature of Brittany!! I noticed she was in a similar outfit to your Monday look which is an endorsement of Christina’s formulas 👏 full circle moment!!!
